Location: The Space – Unit 8 Gemini Business Park, Sheepscar Way, Leeds, LS7 3JB or as required for the delivery and promotion of the service.

Responsible to: The Director of Operations

Salary Scale: SCP 27 – 29 £24,657 - £26,470

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (excluding a 30 min unpaid meal break)
to include some evening and weekend working.

The Bridge Project is looking for a resourceful, motivated individual to become the Recovery Project Coordinator at our Leeds based project, The Space. This position offers a unique chance to manage all aspects of a project we wish to grow, and is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in working in the voluntary sector or in developing their leadership and operational management career.

The Space supports people (members) in personal recovery from substance misuse and/or mental health issues. The project is led by a steering committee of members, which is elected by the members; everybody who joins the project becomes a member. Involvement of the beneficiaries and co-design processes are core principles of the service.

The Space provides a vital resource bridging the gap between mental health and substance misuse treatment services and wider community engagement and integration. Collectively, the members, the groups and activities, and the work with partners make a significant contribution to reduction in relapse rates and representations to services.
