Mohanlal Mistry

I am from a public sector financial and management background having spent most of my working life with Bradford Council and Leeds City Council . I am a qualified accountant and currently a serving Magistrate. I am reminded of the fact that I am the longest serving trustee having accumulated 25 years volunteering my services to the Project and am very proud to be associated with the organisation. In that time, I have seen the organisation go through many upheavals and changes but Bridge has always managed to come through these challenges and changes and is a great survivor. It has managed to succeed and be successful despite all sorts of issues and adversities. The organisation has expanded and gone from strength to strength and is in a very secure position now. Nevertheless, the challenges are always there and Bridge has shown great adaptability and flexibility and continues to evolve to service those in need of substance misuse and related issues. Bridge has retained its core values and cultures along this journey and is a uniquely successful and very well respected organisation. This is where the real credit has to go to John and the leadership team and the great staff members it has who make this happen. I am really proud to be associated with the project and it is great to see the that it offers a brilliant service to the service users of the city of Bradford.
