West Yorkshire Finding Independence (WY-FI)

How can I access this service?

WY.FI Beneficiary Referrals

The National Lottery Community Funding for WY-FI comes to an end, across West Yorkshire in May 2020.

The average length of support for a WY-FI beneficiary is two years, so for this reason, new referrals are only being taken by exception.

If you would like to discuss someone experiencing multiple needs, in Bradford please still feel free to call our WY-FI Navigator team on 01274 723 863. If we are unable to accept a new referral, we may be able to put you in touch with other organisations or services that could help.

The West Yorkshire Fulfilling Lives: Supporting People with Multiple Needs Programme, known as West Yorkshire - Finding Independence (WY-FI) aims to improve the lives and wellbeing of people with the most entrenched multiple needs who are currently systematically disengaged or disconnected with services. Bridge employs a team of Navigators who proactively support individuals to access the services they need to make positive and sustainable changes in their lives. Beneficiaries of the scheme will experience at least three of the following:

  • Homelessness

  • Addiction: problematic substance misuse

  • Reoffending behaviour and/or

  • Mental ill-health

The programme is delivered by the WY-FI Partnership and includes Humankind, Bridge, Barca-Leeds, Community Links, Foundation, Spectrum CIC, and Touchstone.

*Please telephone to check opening times of individual services as there may be slight variations.
