Recovery Stories

The Bridge Project has been active in Bradford for over 35 years, empowering people experiencing multiple barriers to achieve positive change. We work with individuals, families, partners, and communities to improve people’s lives in a sustainable way, recognising that solutions are often complex and need to address a range of issues such as homelessness, substance misuse, offending, sex working, risk-taking behaviours, relationships, housing, physical/mental health, and employment.

We are a collaborative organisation and closely involve our beneficiaries, their families, our staff and volunteers, organisations who commission Bridge to carry out work for them, other agencies with whom we work, and Trustees who oversee the governance of the charity, to provide effective and positive solutions. Telling some of their stories gives a flavour of the breadth of commitment of all those involved.
