Families & Carers

Help for Families & Carers

When a family member, friend or loved one shows signs of abusing alcohol or other drugs, it’s hard to know what to do or say and it can have a devastating effect on families and relationships.

We provide support for families, loved ones and concerned others who are worried about someone’s drink and/or drug misuse. Our team provide advice and information on the effects of drink and drugs, how to speak to the person you are worried about and signposting to our services that can help them. We can provide one-to-one support for you as well as access to peer groups where affected families and others come together to share their experiences and support each other at a difficult time.

If you would like to talk to us about accessing support or to learn more about the help available, Please call 01274 296023 or email Bradford.info@cgl.org.uk
