Executive Support Assistant/People Services Support Assistant

Reference: EXECASST/APR2024

Location: Salem Street, Bradford

Hours: 37.5 hours

Salary: £27,756

Team: People Services

Responsible To: Head of People Services

Closing Date: Monday 20th May 2024

About the Role

We’re excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an Executive Support Assistant/People Services Support Assistant to join our team.  The Bridge Project is a well-established, vibrant Charity based in Bradford with a dedicated staff team providing services to a broad range of people experiencing the effects of deprivation and health inequalities.

This is a dual role providing a comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, along with providing administrative support within the People Services Team.  This is a permanent role.

You will be an integral part of the team and will play an important role.  You’ll be great in this post if you are already working in a senior administrative role supporting a number of managers, are an enthusiastic and pro-active team player, are highly organised and able to multi-task, have a keen eye for detail and are able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Both roles are very busy so we are looking for someone with resilience who is able to work under pressure.  You will show tact, diplomacy and discretion and have demonstrable experience of taking minutes and preparing meeting papers.

As People Services Support Assistant, this is a really varied role, working within a small friendly and supportive team.  You will be involved in all aspects of recruitment and selection, onboarding of new staff and processes/procedures involved in our staffs’ career journey with us.  You will have an opportunity to work creatively producing the People Services newsletter, so being confident in the use of IT packages would be advantageous along with having experience of working within a People Services Team, although full training will be given.

If you are passionate about what we do and would thrive working as part of our welcoming and positive staff team, we’d love to hear from you.

In return, as well as a rewarding career, we can offer a competitive salary, 4% pension contribution, generous annual leave entitlement, employee assistance scheme, life insurance, monthly team wellbeing sessions and a programme of mindfulness activities. The Bridge Project is a Mindful Employer.

If you would like to have an informal conversation about the role, please contact Maxine Woods, Head of People Services to arrange this on maxine.woods@thebridgeproject.org.uk

You must complete the Bridge Project’s application form in order to be considered for the role.  No CV’s are accepted.  No Employment Agencies please.
