Why I became a trustee
I was pleased to be asked to join the board of trustees for Bridge because it gave me the opportunity in retirement to share my experience, to continue my learning and to meet with and work alongside a great team of people.

A bit about me
I come from a commercial background having spent my working life in the private sector latterly in the training world where I built my own company specialising in management development. My business interests always had a social responsibility element – my company funded the building of a school in West Africa and paid the wages of teaching staff, supported Bradford Foyer (now Centrepoint Bradford Foyer) and the Horticap Chairty in Harrogate. I retired in 2020 having been asked to join the board of trustees for the Bridge Project a year earlier. I also support initiatives that positively influence the environment in which we are born, grow and live.

As a trustee I..
I am Vice Chair of the Trustees and Chair of the Business and Finance subcommittee.
