The Bridge Project

For over 40 years, The Bridge Project has helped people across Bradford overcome barriers, rebuild their lives and achieve lasting change.

Each year, we support hundreds of people experiencing a combination of:

  • Homelessness
  • Substance use
  • Domestic abuse
  • Poor mental health
  • Social exclusion and other multiple disadvantages

Working alongside each person, we provide tailored support that helps people move towards safer, healthier and more independent lives.

We are a trusted charity provider of multiple specialist statutory services both directly and in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector organisations, supported by grant funding and donations.

Our Mission is to empower people experiencing multiple barriers to achieve positive change.

Our Services include:

  • Navigational support, where skilled staff walk offer relational support to help overcome barriers to treatment, skills development and wider support.
  • Housing and tenancy support, offering safe, stable homes for people transitioning into recovery.
  • Bradford RESET, a whole family model and a key part of Bradford’s response to domestic abuse. We work directly with people who cause harm, and provide separate family support to linked victim-survivors to promote safety.
  • Volunteer and qualification opportunities by supporting the workforce potential of people with lived experience.
  • Our Reconnect Centre with kitchen and hygiene facilities provides a private, safe drop in space with restorative options for those we work with.

Alongside our support offer, we are committed to providing safe, respectful services and homes where everyone is treated with dignity. We take Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) seriously and respond promptly, proportionately and fairly to prevent harm, resolve issues early and protect those affected. Our ASB Statement aligns with Bradford’s Eviction Prevention Protocol, ensuring enforcement is always a last resort and that early intervention, support and problem‑solving come first. If you would like to share a concern, a compliment, or an ASB report, please download this feedback form and email it to info@thebridgeproject.org.uk.
